Welcome to our home page. Thornywait is a kennel located in Daventry, Northamptonshire. Our Golden Retrievers live in our home and are very much our family pets, we also have a lot of fun showing them at dog shows all over the country.

To date we are very proud to have bred & owned the top winning Golden Retriever for 2008 and owned or bred 2 Show Champions that in total our dogs have won 12 Challenge Certificates',  9 Reserve Challenge Certificate's, 10 Junior Warrants and 2 show Gundog working certificates.

We have also briefly ventured into the shooting field which we and the dogs thoroughly enjoyed, time permitting we would like to continue with this.

Our aim is to breed well tempered Golden Retrievers sound in body and mind that We can be proud of.
